Maison Martin Margiela has wielded its avante-garde aesthetic onto the classic Converse sneaker, creating a shoe completely covered in the Belgian fashion house’s iconic white paint. The collaboration features two of the brand’s most recognisable models, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and the Converse Jack Purcell, both entirely hand-painted in MMM’s well-known white paint. As expected, with wear the sneakers’ paint cracks and the underlying colours of navy, black, red, and Margiela-exclusive vintage yellow.
