When you have chronic hand eczema, there’s no escaping your hands. We needed to make HCPs realise the burden by making the symptoms impossible to ignore.

The disease awareness campaign idea 'The Burden of CHE is Too Big To Ignore' is a deliberately exaggerated interpretation of the burden of CHE; the emotional burden shows on our patients’ faces; the lifestyle burden made clear through their professions; most clearly, the physical burden dominates the scene.

We also created two motion assets for both characters — the decorator and hairdresser. The camera pulls back from the background to show the emotion in the patient’s face. It then pulls back further to reveal their hands and symptoms.
